DRINK IT IN

New Holland Brewing Company was founded on two principles: perfect each beer recipe with all the passion and idealism of a true artist, then replicate that art with a painstaking consistency rarely seen from a microbrewery. The result is a family of year-round, seasonal and a specialty line of beers, ranging from pale ale to stout, that can all be labeled absolutely delicious. Just ask the judges who have honored many of our beers with regional and national awards.

Now you be the judge. No expertise required. Just pop off the top and enjoy. Cheers!

New Holland Beers

Mad Hatter : India Pale Ale

14°p o.g. - 5.8% abv

Dry-hopping provides a distinctive and floral hop aroma, while the lively and hoppy body is subtly balanced with delicious malt notes. Hatter’s hop character makes it a great fit for spicy dishes, bitter greens and beef.

Sundog : Amber Ale

13°p o.g. - 5.0% abv

Sundog is an amber ale as deep as the copper glow of a Lake Michigan sunset. Its biscuit malt give Sundog a toasty character and a subtle malty sweetness. Sundog brings out the best in grilled foods, caramelized onions, nutty cheese, barbecue, or your favorite pizza.

The Poet : Oatmeal Stout

15°p o.g. - 5.5% abv

The Poet has a rich, smooth malt character enveloped in tones of roast and chocolate. A soft mouth-feel brings luxurious flavors and soothing aroma. It pairs wonderfully with earthy flavors such as mushrooms and beef, while remaining the perfect accent to any chocolate.

New Holland Seasonals

Red Tulip : Ale : Spring

14°p o.g. - 5.25% abv

A red ale with rich and smooth flavors of malted barley, balanced by underlying hints of dark fruit. Brewed in homage to our hometown tulip festival, Red Tulip evokes spring’s renewing spirit. Excellent with roasted pork, red-meats and dried fruit.

Zoomer : Wheat Ale : Summer

11.5°p o.g. - 4.7% abv

American-grown wheat provides Zoomer’s straw color and its soft, clean body. With subtle, yet favorable hints of citrus fruit in its finish, Zoomer is the perfect companion to all things summer. Food pairings include artisan cheese, fresh greens, fish and chicken.

Ichabod : Pumpkin Ale : Fall

12°p o.g. - 4.8% abv

Ichabod combines malted barley and real pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg in a delicious and inviting brew. Ichabod pairs well with autumnal foods such as poultry and root vegetables. After dinner, try it with your favorite dessert.

High Gravity Series

Dragon's Milk : Barrel-Aged Strong Ale

19° P o.g. 9% a.b.v.

A barrel-aged, strongale with a soft and rich caramel-malt character intermingled with deep vanilla tones dancing in an oak bath. Unmistakably distinctive and hauntingly remarkable, Dragon’s Milk’s warming complexity pairs well with smoked meats and cheeses, red meat, or a nice cigar.

Black Tulip : Trippel Ale

18.5° P o.g. 9% a.b.v.

Golden in color with a slightly sweet body. Its ester-laden character reveals an enigmatic dance between Belgian ale yeast and candy sugar complimented by a pleasing dry finish. Black Tulip is a versatile beer for food. Enjoyable pairings include mild bleu cheeses, berries and other light desserts.

Blue Goat : Doppelbock

18° P o.g., 7.5% a.b.v.

Chestnut in color with a nutty malt profile from its signature Munich malt. A muted hop presence and smooth caramelized body culminate in a clean, dry finish. Excellent choice for hearty meals with dark flavors and sauces. Grilled meats, musty cheeses or pecan pie.

Existential : Hopwine

26.4° P o.g., 11.1% a.b.v.

Consider it an extremely hoppy barleywine, or a really big IPA. Either way, ten hop additions contribute to its lush and intriguing body. Aggressive dry-hopping brings a strong citrus character to the aroma. The flavor and smell of orange-blossoms pervade throughout the experience.

Pilgrim's Dole : Wheatwine

25° P o.g., 10% a.b.v.

Pilgrim’s Dole is a barleywine-style ale made with fifty percent wheat malt, or what we at New Holland call a wheatwine. Pilgrim’s Dole blends warming and slightly sweet flavors with a unique caramelized character. It would be an excellent accent to nutty dishes, fruit crisps or creme brulee.
